Please allow me to introduce myself... I'm Pete Chambers, and for decades I've been entertaining all over New England as a Radio Personality, Club and Mobile disc jockey.  To excel in any endeavor, you have to really enjoy what you're doing and I truly believe that I have been blessed to have the talents necessary to be at the top of my field in one of the most enjoyable careers in the world.  Every weekend someone invites me to DJ at their party!  What could be better?  Even though my high school guidance councilor suggested that I go into the dental field, I think this one suits me best.  ;-)

2009 marked my Silver Anniversary!  I've been on the Mobile DJ circuit for over 25 years and that experience benefits you!  My DJ associates have very similar resumes.  When you put one of our DJs to work for you, you're getting a trusted and tested Name Brand entertainer, no beginners or DJs in training here.  This is an important consideration if it's a quality performance that matters to you.

One of our advantages over other Mobile DJs...is our extensive background in broadcasting. The DJs that I offer for wedding receptions, bar/bat mitzvahs, anniversary parties, birthday parties, etc. all have one common thread...the benefit of having experience as Radio Personalities. Our DJs-MCs learned their craft in the "Big Leagues" long before they were added to our artist roster. On-the-air, you have an opportunity to refine the essential skills that are needed as a Mobile DJ. From fine tuning the microphone delivery and developing one's personality and style, to getting in-depth exposure to music formats and artists from all eras and genres, to learning how to work the buttons and knobs to engineer a smooth, error-free mix...our expertise in this field is something that many other Mobile DJs are not able to offer you.   

Being seasoned Radio Personalities our DJ's possess the pleasant, energetic voices, smooth delivery, articulation, and other verbal skills that you would expect from someone presenting themselves as a "Professional Master of Ceremonies".  The all important "personality" component is one of the major differences we offer, as a great DJ performance usually involves more than just playing music. 

Any DJ you contact will, at a minimum, be able to show up at your venue and play the standard songs. If that's all you require, then you'll have plenty of DJs to choose from. To be successful however, most functions need more than just a "music spinner", in most cases a skilled Master of Ceremonies is required at the helm, and that's where "personality" enters the equation. Our MCs are able to take command, motivate and interact with your guests, (to the degree preferred by you the client) and conduct all of the planned activities in a polished and entertaining manner. 

Many of the less skilled DJs in the New England market sound rough and uncomfortable on the microphone, having a difficult time connecting their thoughts and sentences.  Many are unable to convey their personality beyond making basic announcements.  On the other end of the spectrum are the MCs that are a bit too animated, putting on the "announcer voice" and screaming into the microphone like the guy you hear at the Monster Truck Show or Race Track.

All of this being said...if you want us to simply "play the music" we would be happy to accommodate your wishes.  We're very flexible and have no agenda.  

You'll be happy to know...that I DO NOT pull people off of the street and provide them with "DJ training", as some other entertainment companies openly admit to on their websites. My theory is that The Cream Floats To The Top...the best entertainers have persevered, gained their experience and honed their skills over the years in broadcasting and on the road at hundreds of private functions. These individuals make for a better, more well-rounded entertainer.

Vital when hiring a DJ-MC are the intangibles...the ability to making you laugh, creating a fun atmosphere, making everyone feel good...that's really the voodoo, that we do so well.  If you want a bona fide professional, with credentials to back up the claim, look no further.
