Matt began DJing in high school. Then, he earned a bachelors degree in Broadcast Management from Boston University while managing the student run radio station for three years on campus. WTBU was the same station where Howard Stern cut his early DJ roots. Matt's radio career followed with stints at WBCN and WVBF in Boston. Since 1990 Matt has been a Mobile DJ throughout Central New England including Weddings, nightclubs, proms and both private and corporate events.
Matt's musical influences (The Ramones and Michael Jackson to Lil Jon and One Direction) have allowed him to shake the dance floor with fist pumping top 40 dance tracks to the most eloquent of classic tunes. Matt played bass guitar and toured with the band Livewire from the late 1980's through the early 90's learning how to transform a crowd of hundreds to thousands as he opened for many national acts.
When Matt is not rocking a dance floor, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, working in his family horticulture business, playing ice hockey and golf, and follows the Boston sports scene.
Matt is the “defintion” of a professional disc jockey that knows how to read a crowd and listen to the needs of a client. The music and the beat are the heart of the party...

"We loved having DJ Matt at our wedding! He was very easy to work with and made sure to accommodate all of our music requests. We had a few must plays but otherwise gave genre/style direction, which we felt he really got right with his song selections. We had told Matt absolutely no cheesy wedding songs, so when a guest requested it during the wedding, he actually made sure to check with us before playing it! We also didn't want any over the top MC'ing and Matt had just the right amount of crowd interaction. We worked with Pete throughout the contract and planning discussions. "We were thrilled to work with Matt from Pete Chambers Entertainment!! Emailing with Pete at the beginning of the planning stages was fast and easy. We also enjoyed using the online planning tools to request songs and make a timeline for our reception. Matt was extremely accommodating and professional. I learned after the reception that he overheard the bartender telling my family during the set up that we needed more lime juice for the bar, and Matt volunteered to run to the grocery store and pick some up, no questions asked. And the store was about 15 minutes away. How amazing is that! I've never heard of a DJ going so above and beyond for his clients. Matt was also kind and patient with me and my husband during the reception when we asked for 10 more minutes here and there before moving on to things like the cake cutting or bouquet toss. He came up to me before these moments, gave me a time check, and asked if I wanted a few more minutes. He did all of this in the gentlest, kindest way without any pressure. He played a great variety of music and kept the party going up until our last dance. I highly recommend any bride and groom to work with this DJ, we had a great experience. Thank you Pete and Matt! "
"We had a blast at our wedding, and Matt certainly helped with that! I had a good feeling when we first met with Matt before the wedding, but he certainly went above and beyond my expectations. It was great to work with someone who not only has a passion for music, but has so much wedding DJ experience. There are many logistics in a wedding, and Matt had everything set on his end and was very flexible with last minute changes or things I completely forgot to tell him (whoops). He did a great job of playing all different types of music to please our crowd and I have only heard compliments about what a great DJ we got.
