If the usual mix of "wedding type" songs that most DJs routinely rely on isn't quite your style, you'll be relieved to discover that we enjoy playing a fresher mix of tunes.  If requested, we may include a few wedding standards, but we'll concentrate our efforts on songs that aren't nearly as over-played, but still fill the dance floor.  As one client remarked, "A number of guests told me that they usually didn't like the music DJs played at weddings, but they liked yours a lot!"

Good music programming is a key to getting the party started.  We work with you to be sure that you hear exactly what you like, playing the music that suits your personal style, while still paying close attention to the flow of the music sets.  And yes, we not only take, but encourage requests from the audience!

We've invested thousand$ into our digital music library so that we may offer you the finest sound quality, from one of the largest private DJ music collections in New England.  Many of our systems are now MP3 based.  Not only do we save an unbelievable amount of physical space (smaller set-up footprint), but now, 10's of thousands of songs are only a few clicks away...a capability that DJs could never have imagined just a few years ago.  You get all of this with astonishing sound quality that rivals compact disc!

Several clients have requested that we play "no obviously downloaded music".  The reason for this request is that some DJs, especially the ones just starting out and/or those who charge a very low fee, download all or most of their music from the internet for free.  The result is that some of these corrupt music files have the clicks, burps, drop-outs and squeaks that sometimes accompany unauthorized downloaded music files.  If this is a concern, you will be happy to know that our base music library is actually recorded direct from compact disc.  We've been collecting CDs since the format arrived back in the 80's, so every tune we play is digitally perfect! 

One reason why our music sounds better...The key factor in the sound quality of an MP3 music file is the bitrate at which the song was recorded or "ripped" from a CD.  This is measured in kilobits per second or kbps.  Most of our tunes have been recorded at 320 kbps - for maximum sound quality, while many other DJs rip at rates of 128 kbps or even lower.
